A Landcrew's Perspective
I was support crew for a first time entrant on the weekend. My brother finished in a 580 mirage at 6am.
Just wanted to reach out and say a massive thank you for all involved.
Life is full of challenges, but it's challenges like this race, that make people stop and think
- How amazing humans can be to donate all their time to be volunteers
- How beautiful this planet is. What a race track !!!
- What we can do if we push ourselves past what we think is possible.
I know the race is about raising funds, but it's also about making people stop and think why we exist and what we want to get out of our lives.
So next time you are feeling a bit down, or the workload is getting too much, or you are asking yourself if you should bother........ Then just think of the butterfly effect of all the different things the race contestants and participants are now doing because of the impact THIS race had on them.....
Thank you so much on behalf of my brother and I for running the race. It's a day I will never forget and look back on with very fond memories...
Regards,
Luke Cable
