Sponsorship and Donations

You can make a sponsorship or donation, big or small, to a paddler or the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic to help with our fundraising.

There are a few ways to sponsor or donate. You can-

Sponsor yourself,
Invite others to sponsor you,
Sponsor a paddler, or
Make a donation to the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic Association.

Paddlers - you need to do this

To raise your minimum sponsorship of $200 ($100 for juniors), the preferred option is to use the GiveNow system.

Please refer to the email sent to you by Webscorer moments after you completed your entry. That email walks through how paddlers create their fundraising page on the GiveNow platform. Once paddlers set up their fundraising page via that process, GiveNow will send an email with the link for paddlers to send to their colleagues, friends and family for sponsorship to be raised. This is the most popular method that paddlers use for their fundraising.

Sponsors – How to donate to a specific paddler

Contact the paddler you would like to donate to and have them advise you of their GiveNow fundraising link. Then make a donation using that link. You will receive an email receipt and the paddler you are donating to will be advised of your donation by email.

Go direct to GiveNow.com.au .

Scroll down to FOR DONORS and select FIND A CAUSE
Enter HAWKESBURY CANOE CLASSIC in the keyword search and select 2026 HAWKESBURY CLASSIC PADDLE OFFICIAL PAGE from the drop down list of matches.
Click on 2026 HAWKESBURY CLASSIC PADDLE OFFICIAL PAGE when it displays.
Scroll down to CROWDRAISERS FOR THIS CAUSE and locate your paddler from the list.
Select the paddler you are supporting and proceed with the donation.

Go direct to GiveNow.com.au .

Select START GIVING
Enter HAWKESBURY CANOE CLASSIC in the keyword search and select 2026 HAWKESBURY CLASSIC PADDLE OFFICIAL PAGE from the drop down list of matches.
Click on 2026 HAWKESBURY CLASSIC PADDLE OFFICIAL PAGE when it displays.
Go to the right side of the page
Enter your donation amount and select DONATE
When you reach the ADD A MESSAGE (OPTIONAL) box display, please add the name of the paddler you are sponsoring in the box. It is important the paddlers name is typed in so we know where to allocate the fundraising.
