This will be the sixth time I attempt this amazing race. The second time as part of a doubles team. I've been paddling for 10 years now, most of that time with the incredible Club, the Lane Cove River Kayakers. I've paddled the Mighty Murray, the Riverland 200, several times, numerous Marathon Series Races, the Bateman's Bay Paddle Challenges and the 3 Rivers Marathon. The highlight of my paddling career still being taking part in the 2017 ICF Canoe Marathon Masters World Cup, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa..

So yes, you guessed it I love paddling.

But I keep coming back to the Classic. This race has a far more important purpose than all the paddling I do and that is that it supports Arrow, The Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation and the all important research work it does into improving the survival and quality of life for patients with blood diseases treatable by bone marrow and blood stem cell transplants, as well as providing support for their carers in Australia's.

Please take the time to click on the 'About' link above and find out more about how this Race supports the Foundation and where your support would go.
