
Event Rules
Entries into the Canoe Classic are subject to the terms and conditions at https://www.canoeclassic.net/event-rules.
It is your responsibility to read the rules carefully and observe them at all times when participating in any Hawkesbury Canoe Classic event.
The organising Committee reserves the right for whatever reasons to shorten or abandon the Classic (for example, on direction of a Government department or for safety reasons) and to make subsequent decisions regarding results, handicap times, reconstituting classes and the awarding of medallions and ribbons.
All paddlers must obey all directions by Hawkesbury Canoe Classic Officials (including Volunteer Marine Rescue NSW, NSW SES and RMS personnel). Penalty - disqualification!
The organising Committee reserves the right to disqualify, refuse entry or impose time penalties for any breach of the rules.
Refund Policy
Entry fee refunds

Should the organisers cancel the event on or before ??– 100% refund

Should a paddler elect to withdraw their entry after ?? – No refund

Should a paddler elect to withdraw their entry before ?? – A partial refund of the entry fee will be paid

Should the event be cancelled after ??, due to the application of a Public Health Order, or similar, the association MAY, at its discretion, make a partial refund of entry fees.
In the event of a late cancellation, there will be an announcement on the website www.canoeclassic.asn.au.
Note: Sponsorship funds cannot be refunded as they are a tax deductible charitable donation.
